Guild Wars 2 was something of a disappointment - WvW was a blast, while it was alive. But the reality is that the game was not balanced for it. Crafting was disappointing and less viable as a long-term solution than it was as a passing distraction. Raiding was relatively standard, ranging from uninteresting to mildly challenging. After GW2's heat died down, RQ went on a hiatus, many of our members (myself included) now working full-time jobs, many more of us raising families and having far too many other responsibilities to dedicate ourselves to hardcore MMO play again. Now, FFXIV has caught the interest of many of our players, and serves as a more relaxed, non-competitive environment for us to spend our time on. The game truly has something for everyone.
